It's a vacuum hose people! Sheesh!
P.S. It turns out the camera wasn't out of batteries after all. It had just had "trouble" or something turning on yesterday and then camera girl dreamed last night that it was out, leading her to believe it was so. Then when she turned it on today, it worked perfectly fine!
The vacuum hose does look like a light saber! Glad the camera is working again.
