P.S. It turns out the camera wasn't out of batteries after all. It had just had "trouble" or something turning on yesterday and then camera girl dreamed last night that it was out, leading her to believe it was so. Then when she turned it on today, it worked perfectly fine!
Sorry there are no pictures today: my camera girl's camera is out of batteries and she's "too busy" to fix it. But I will be loyal to my readers and continue to post everyday. The thing that I wanted to say is, drum roll please, THE GIRLS ARE GOING BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!! You know what that means? We get the whole house to ourselves for a whole day! The man will be at work, the lady will be teaching, and the dogs will be kenneled. The only thing left to bug me is Tater but I can deal with him. I am SO excited!
It turns out my camera girl did have a picture of me! She had kept it stored away in a notebook instead of on the wall which makes me suspicious. (Well, maybe because it was one of those no tear notebooks.)
P.S. My camera girl is a little sick, so the pictures aren't coming as fast as I'd like them, so the posts might be a little slow.
While I was surfing the web recently, I came across an intriguing fact.
You see, I was named Dumbledore because I am a black cat therefor I deserved a wizard/witch sort of name. Frankly I don't care what I'm called as long as I'm fed (and, you know, it's not intimidating or down right weird). But I also found out that my name is another word for bumblebee.
Tater said thanks for putting him on my blog. I think he was being sarcastic, but you can never tell with Tater. And please excuse the blurry picture; my camera person isn't much of a professional yet.
Greetings viewers. My name is Dumbledore but most refer to me as Mr. Dumbles. I am a black cat with a lot to share.
First up, I'd like to introduce my fellow residents. There are two little girls that like to rub my belly (though sometimes they do it a little too hard!) and scratch my ears. There's also two older humans who seem to think they run the show, but they know deep down that I am the man of the house. The older tom seems to think poking me to anger me is fun, but the female likes my company every night and I make sure she wakes up bright and early.
Then there are the dogs. At my place it's cats chase dogs. They understand now that I am their supreme ruler. They make room for me as I walk by.
And finally there is Tater. I would say we're not related, but that would be lying. He is my timid little brother who seems to be afraid of his own shadow. My mom loved having kids, but most of them are gone now. Too bad I got stuck with that dim-witted fuzzball.
Anyways, that's the opening to my new blog. I hope you enjoy it.
